sara and i spent the fourth of july with her friend from school, heather and her boyfriend, asa. good times. despite the flash flooding, asa was able to cook some amazing gourmet burgers. i applaud him for trying to cook out in the thunderstorm and for heather for prepping the food. we were able to see some neighborhood fireworks and spend some time getting beaten playing a game on their Wii.
it was called Brain Academy. it was fun. i'm a sore loser. anyone who has played a game with me should know that about me. i'm getting better though in my old age. not much better. it was a fun independence day. good friends. good food. and lots of laughs.
